At CleanForce we aim to ensure that the spread of contamination and germs is kept to the minimum.  One of the ways of achieving this is to follow the National Colour Coding Scheme which has been set out by the British Institute of Cleaning Science which provides guidelines on using colour coded items for cleaning specific areas.

By using for instance, a red colour coded bucket and mop for areas such as toilets which are considered to be high risk areas for the spread of germs, and not using the same bucket and mop for cleaning the wash basins (these would be yellow coded) you can quickly see the benefits for avoiding cross-contamination.

All of our staff are trained to use the National Colour Coding Scheme and you can find our Practice document and Colour Coded Chart on our website.  We can provide these documents as part of your Health & Safety package if you so wish, or you can simply download them from the website yourself.
